A song cycle inspired by nature and the landscapes of the British Isles, 'A New Moon in A Dew Pond' takes the listener on a trip through the seasons. Each track presents a character and their relationship with the landscape, from shingle beaches to bee-loud glades, lambent autumn days and windswept moorland edges.

In keeping with the theme, some of the songs were recorded outside, or with the windows left open wide, to capture the sounds of nature: it's lo-fi, but organic. Each song was recorded as a single live vocals/guitar take before overdubs were added.

It's the most personal and authentic collection of songs I've written, and so it seems appropriate to release it under my birth name rather than any pseudonym or project name. I'm pleased with it and I hope you enjoy it.
