about

This is the first track from my forthcoming album, 'A New Moon in A Dew Pond': released on the 22nd February. A song cycle inspired by nature and the landscapes of the British Isles, it's designed to take the listener on a trip through the seasons; from shingle beaches to bee-loud glades, lambent autumn days and windswept moorland edges.

This song was recorded in July & September 2022, at Miry Meadow, Chapel-en-le-Frith.

I played Acoustic, electric and 12 string guitars, bass and tambourine.
The trumpet is played by Matt Gellia.
